The Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumer's Association website has been renovated and the new website went live today at www.pmhca.org.
MasseyNet first designed and developed a website for a Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumer's Association (PMHCA) project, the Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition (PPSC) that went live July 2010. MasseyNet "hit the mark" on this website. Read more about the PPSC project. The PPSC website was built to be fully accessible, user friendly, and provide supports and resources for people in recovery who support others in their own recovery.
PMHCA approached MasseyNet to have their existing website reviewed for ADA compliance as well as to make suggestions on how to apply some of the same principle's from the PPSC website so that the PMHCA website.
While reviewing and writing new content for the PMHCA website, MasseyNet worked with PMHCA to create a new logo that better represented who they are today. MasseyNet developed their new tag line, Join us on the road to recovery. The new logo was developed to include aspects of the original logo while incorporating the mission, and new tag line, of the organization.
From there MasseyNet incorporated the power of words in the form of a word collage header, incorporating eight of the words most associated with PMHCA and its mission. The site was built to be Section 508 compliant and to provide resources and information to support the principles and practices of mental health recovery as well as promote the many projects and services of PMHCA.
MasseyNet is currently working with PMHCA to upgrade their membership database and provide searchable access to other PMHCA resources on their website.
